Mashups are usually odd pairings, but they can always get odder.
I mean… How does a fusion of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Invasion of the Body Snatchers sound? You good with that?
Well, that’s the official description Howl #1, from Ahoy Comics!
Alisa Kwitney (who penned G.I.L.T.) reteams with G.I.L.T.’s artist Mauricet for the book, which is on the shelves of your local comic shop right now! Kwitney has delved into her own life for Howl - the book is based on her parents time in Greenwich Village! Although it’s unlikely they ever met aliens… or is it?!
Here’s Ahoy’s solicit for the book, just in case you missed it:

That’s the law of Greenwich Village in the late 1950s, home of poets, artists, musicians, writers, their put-upon partners—and the extraterrestrial spores that are secretly taking them over! Novelist/comics writer Alisa Kwitney (The Sandman Presents) mixes science fiction with family memoir, featuring stunning art by Mauricet (Star Wars Adventures).
Take a look at some pages from #1 below, as well as the solicits for #2 and #3!
