The trailer and new images for Apple TV’s Godzilla series arrives at NYCC!

NYCC ’23: Apple TV+ dropped the first trailer for their new show, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, set in the World of Gareth Edward’s Godzilla and the films that followed it. They also released a series of images from the series, which arrives on the streaming service on 17th November.
The show will center around two timelines: in the 1950s, Wyatt Russell plays Army officer Lee Shaw, who will become instrumental in the foundation of Monarch and research into Godzilla, the other monsters, and their world.
Half a century later, Monarch are threatened by what Shaw (now played by Kurt Russell) knows.
Just what it is that Shaw knows is a mystery, but his children are trying to uncover it, shortly after Godzilla and the other monsters attack on San Francisco. They’re no longer a secret. They exist. Their saga reverberates down generations in this exciting action-drama which stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski, and is based on the Legendary Films Monsterverse.
