The superstar team of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are to work together again - in a return the world of Batman: The Long Halloween!
The now classic Batman story which debuted 25 years ago has become a firm favourite amongst fans and is set in Batman’s early days. The story was originally published in thirteen high-quality issues, with cardstock covers and beautiful art by Sale. Now Loeb and Sale will create a prestige-format, one-shot special that will continue the story.
In a press-release from DC Comics, Jeph Loeb has said the book will fit into the original series mythology: "Twenty-five years ago, Tim Sale and I set out to tell a mystery tale of how Gotham City went from crime to freaks. The result was Batman: The Long Halloween. We're thrilled to be back at DC revisiting some of our favorite characters all the while revealing that you may not know the whole story..."
The one-shot will be available from 12th October 2021.
