FUTURE COMICS: UPDATED - HUMAN TARGET SERIES TAKES AIM WITH TOM KING AND GREG SMALLWOOD

The Human Target returns! This fall, Christopher Chance, the man who can become just about anybody, will make a comeback with a new series written by Tom King and drawn by Greg Smallwood.

The unique bodyguard, who specializes in assuming the identities of assassination targets, will feature in a new DC Black Label book. This will be King’s fifth book this year, making him of DC’s most prolific writers. The character made his debut in 1972’s Action Comics #419 created by Len Wein, Carmen Infantino and Dick Giordano, with the original version of the character created by Edmond Hamilton and Sheldon Moldoff. Christopher Chance is the second Human Target and previously been written by Peter Milligan.

King announced the comic via twitter: ‘This Fall. The Human Target, Christopher Chance, wants to make something of it.’

They have also revealed the first issue will have a 1:25 cover by Jenny Frisson, as well as a main cover by Smallwood, and cardstock variant covers by Trevor Hairsine and Danny Miki. Check out our gallery of images below.
